Biathlon World Cup Oberhof, Women’s Sprint
Saturday, 01/08/2011
In today’s women’s sprint race in the mega biathlon at Oberhof, Norway’s Ann-Kristin Flatland celebrated her first World Cup victory. In difficult, wet snow conditions, she missed the target just once. Double Olympic winner Magdalena Neuner finished in a strong second place, with the fastest racing time, after missing one target in both the prone and standing shooting sections. Third place went to another Toko-sponsored athlete, Andrea Henkel from Germany.
