The conditions for the women’s race today were similar to those for the men’s event yesterday.
Despite the warm weather, the uphill sections remained firm, ensuring fair conditions for all athletes. On the day, it was the Norway’s Tora Berger who dealt best with the prevailing conditions. She won with zero shooting penalties, just a second in front of Andrea Henkel from Germany. Superstar Magdalena Neuner finished third with one missed target.
