Nove Mesto na Morave
The World Championships in Schladming/AUT (Alpine) and Nove Mesto na Morave/CZ (Biathlon) are over, now the Nordic contests start in Val die Fiemme/ITA. TOKO’s racing service team is always on the spot. Here you can read the résumé of the Biathlon World Championships. The hosts managed a very well organised and impressive event.
As for the facts: the strongest nation were the Norwegians with their stars Tora Berger, Emil Hegle Svendsen and Tarjey Boe. They easily lead the medal count with 8x gold, 2x silver and 1x bronze.
Our TOKO athletes were also convincing in Nove Mesto. Our special congratulations go to Martin Fourcade/FRA with 1x gold and 3x silver. Andrea Henkel/GER won silver in the single race. Her boyfriend Tim Burke/USA did the same and equally won silver in the single race the day after. Erik Lesser and Arnd Peiffer won a silver medal in the relay race together with their German relay colleagues.
TOKO contributed majorly with a new racing wax! So you can keep on looking forward to new top TOKO products.
Now everyone is off to Oslo/NOR, Sochi/RUS and Khanty Mansisyk/RUS before the winners of the overall world cup will be determined. We will of course be there and keep you posted.
Congratulations to all teams and thank you for your confidence in our TOKO products.
