IROX - Liquid Hotwax

Irox is a revolutionary new liquid hot wax. It combines the benefits of liquid wax and hot wax. Irox is as easy to apply as liquid wax, and yet offers the same optimal performance, maintenance effect and degree of hold as hot wax.

Irox is the world’s first liquid hot wax and has been exclusively patented for Toko. Irox is ideal for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and for snowboards.

1) Spray on Irox

Shake the can vigorously, then spray Irox on evenly.

2a) Iron Irox in

Iron in Irox from the tip of the ski to the tail.

Iron temperature of around 150 °C.
The temperature of the iron always depends on the temperature in the ski room.

Alternatively, Irox can be ironed using a Base Tex between the base and the iron. This results in an even, fine film on the base.

Irox can also be applied cold.

2b) Polish using a Thermo Pad, Dual Pad, cork or Base Tex.

Carefully polish the whitish paraffin film using a Thermo Pad, Dual Pad, cork or a Base Tex roll.

3) Brush

Leave Irox to cool and take effect for around 10 minutes then use a nylon brush to brush from the ski tip to the tail.

Brushing the fine wax film is not essential, but it improves the sliding properties at the start.
