La Diagonela. The classic in the Engadin.

From 15 to 18 January 2026, the Engadin will once again become a hotspot for cross-country skiing enthusiasts from all over the world. Engadin La Diagonela leads through one of Switzerland’s most impressive winter landscapes – from Pontresina to the historic village of Zuoz. Wide valleys, sparkling trails and a unique race format make this event a true highlight in the cross-country skiing calendar.

In addition to the classic 55 km race, La Diagonela, shorter distances are also on the program: La Pacificha (25 km) for ambitious athletes and La Cuorta (6 km) for those who want to get a taste of race atmosphere. No matter the distance – the experience always takes center stage.

  • Wax service & personal advice on Friday, 16 January in the area of the Zuoz cross-country skiing center. Our experts take the time to answer your questions and are happy to share a few insider tips.

  • Last-minute service before the start of La Diagonela and La Pacificha. A last-resort solution – an emergency service for everyone whose skis are not yet properly prepared.
    We will be ready shortly before 9:00 a.m. in the start area. Important: skis must be cleaned and scraped in advance.

  • Course service in St. Moritz and Zuoz. If something doesn’t work perfectly mid-race and your skis need a quick refresh, we’re happy to help.

  • Special offers and wax service at local retailers.

  • Wax tip: the race wax recommendation, tested by our experts on site.

Especially in challenging conditions, perfect wax preparation is essential. That’s why Toko’s experts are on site, carrying out an in-depth analysis of the snow and course conditions.
